Quick answers about pricing, what's included, your AI planning companion, refunds and access.
Core is the foundation — 5 essentials that get you from "engaged" to "I do" without paying a planner: budget tracker, master timeline, vendor framework, family-and-guest tools, and the wedding-day script. Deluxe adds 17 more tools — RSVP tracker, seating planner, vendor scripts, contract templates, hen's/buck's planner, honeymoon planner, registry guide, and the rest of the production toolkit. Total = 22 tools in Deluxe.
PocketPlanner is your private AI wedding planning companion — built into the Deluxe tier. Ask it anything: "What questions should I ask the florist?", "Help me write the seating chart for my divorced parents", "What's a realistic budget for 90 guests in regional Victoria?". It speaks Australian, knows your wedding date, and never recommends paid upgrades. It's a friend who happens to have planned 10,000 weddings.
It's built for AU weddings — vendor frameworks, contract templates, regional pricing benchmarks all reflect AU norms. US couples have used it successfully (the budget logic and timeline tools are universal), but vendor scripts and pricing benchmarks won't match your local market.
Venue, photographer, videographer, celebrant, caterer, florist, band/DJ, hair/makeup, transport, stationery, cake, decor hire, dress alterations, and honeymoon. Each has a vetted question script, red-flag list and contract clause checklist.
A wedding planner in Australia charges 10–15% of total budget — for a $80k wedding that's $8–12k. The framework gives you the same checklists, scripts and timing that a planner would walk you through. You do the legwork (which most couples enjoy anyway), and pocket the difference. Yes. One purchase = lifetime access to all your tools, including future updates. PocketPlanner (Deluxe) is the one exception — its AI runs on a usage allowance (generous; covers a typical 12-month engagement). Heavy users can top up if needed, but most never hit the cap.
Yes — fully responsive. Most couples plan on laptop/tablet (more screen for spreadsheets and timelines) and use the phone for the day-of script and vendor contact list. PocketPlanner works great on phone.
After purchase, check your email for a one-click sign-in link. From your account page you can download every tool, manage billing through the Stripe portal, and chat with PocketPlanner if you're on Deluxe.
Built by Daniel Gosling and team at BlackPan Agency. The framework came from watching too many couples get gouged by the wedding industry — and from helping run a friend's wedding when their planner ghosted them three weeks out. Reach us at support@weddingsimplified.com.
